Valerie Niemeyer is a Seattle-based artist and freelance illustrator. She earned her BA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Washington in 2016, taking some extra time to study animation and art history. Her work is heavily inspired by the beautiful nature that surrounds her as well as her childhood obsession with fairies and woodland creatures. When not creating art she can be found reading the latest YA novel, knitting and eating popcorn.
